Available Spindle Styles for Jiffy-Drill

The no spindle option provides a drive shaft, standard bearing, bearing retainer and tapered pin. The customer provides a spindle that will mate with the drive shaft. The correct dimensions and tolerances are provided in the dimensional print for this spindle style. We manufacture several spindles per customer specifications. The #3 Morse spindle is an internal, "Self-Holding" female taper. Common off the shelf twist drills will readily fit a #3 Morse taper. Adapter to go from a #3 Morse to a #2 or #1 Morse are available from local tooling supply stores. Most drills are also available with either a larger or smaller than standard Morse taper. Consult your tool supply store for various options available. The Morse tool holder is equipped with a knock-out slot for easy tool removal.
